This is not a traditional Irish Lough Mayfly pattern as it is dressed in a lighter manner than it’s big wave surfing cousins. It’s purpose is to be fished more as a river wetfly pattern that can be fished down and across, just under the water surface, without creating any drag in the current. In this video we have teamed ud with the skilled flyfisher and flytyer Neil Darling who will demonstrate this beautiful classic mayfly pattern.
