The season on one of most unique places in the world - that's if you are into 100% wild and big land locked Brown Trout. This is Thingvallavatns ION in Iceland which has been my home water for years. This is where I spend my spring until the Salmon arrive.
All fish in this video were released and should be to keep this one of a kind place unique! Filming in the river is not allowed in order to give the fish peace to spawn. No fishing in spawning time allowed of course.
All supervision and biological work is managed by Jóhannes Sturlaugsson.
