Murderess

My take on Robert Sloane's "Fur Fly". A killer pattern in my local waters of the Otway ranges in South Western Victoria. Please excuse the technical inefficiency's. I use the rough enough is good enough theory when it comes to tying my own fly's. In fact some of the worst I have tied have hooked the biggest and best fish. Tie a few up and take them for a swim.

Hook: size 12 and up wet
thread: black
tail: red crystal flash
Body: black cross cut rabbit fur
Head: Peacock or Ostrich herls
wing: Peacock or Ostrich herl not wound into head

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
