From Marty Howard and Dec Hogan book "Steelhead fly tying". I ordered the book some weeks ago and received it last week. The book name is Steelhead fly tying, Art and Design from Marty Howard and Dec Hogan. A fantastic book where I can learn a lot about steelhead beauties. I fall in love with this fly in the moment I saw it. I give it a try yesterday and tied it for the very first time 3 flies. It was a long time ago that I ty for video again...This are for my own fishing next season. Tied in big spey hook like in the recipe in the book. The materials used are very simple, like seal fur sub. Or tinsel...
The wings are tied with peacock feather!!
