Olive Damsel Nymph

Damsels is a very impressing insect, especially the hatched adult winged insect really atracts attention from both humans as well as fish. The beautiful blue-bodied insect is an amazing flyer, but below the surface of the water it is an important food-source for trouts and other predators. In this video we have our very own Håkan Karsnäser demonstrating how to tie the Olive Damsel Nymph - a must-have-in-the-box pattern for chasing trouts.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
