As summer is winding down, Karson and I headed out to target smallmouth bass on the fly. It was not easy getting there and we ended up having to literally make our own trail through the rhododendron. Took us 30-40 minutes to go about 200 feet. We were very nervous at one point and really thought we were going to be stuck in the woods. Luckily we found our way down to the river and although the fishing was a little slow, we still had one hell of a time.
