6 days spent traveling with my friend Salvador around the Aysén region in Chile, fishing hidden Lagunas with large trout, lakes and rivers with trout eager to take a dry fly.

6 días estuve viajando con mi amigo Salvador por la región de Aysén en Chile, pescando en Lagunas escondidas, lagos y ríos con truchas que suben a la superficie a atacar a las moscas secas.

One of the very first fly fishing books I ever purchased was Tom Rosenbauer's "Prospecting For Trout", which I found at the hardware store in Inlet, NY, deep in the Adirondacks. Those were the days when a $15 book purchase required a brief discussion with the missus, as we hadn't quite got on our feet yet and fishing books were still firmly in the luxury category.
