Peeping Caddis
Here I will be participating in the Peeping Caddis cult that's been going on for like couple of years online on social media of SOO many tiers worldwide, by tying on of them Peeping Caddis. This version of Caddis is an excellent choice for both stream and lake fishing and catches both brown trout, seatrout and arctic char, even Salmon! This version is rather simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing. It works in the springtime and early summer here in Iceland, actually I've caught fish on this fly at the end of the season but mainly it's a spring pattern. I prefer to fish it deep, let is almost crawl the bottom if that's possible and fish it slowly. It will work on shallow water too. Peeping Caddis is indeed a pattern that I like and the trout likes it as well! The most work with tying this pattern is to mix the dubbing materials for the body to get this dark tone on it.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
