This is a fun tie and really fun to fish. This is one of my favorite attractor patterns that I use. I have recently had success catching brookies in mountain streams and lakes within Colorado with this fly. This stone fly pattern is tied on an AFF S402 (down-eye, 2x-long, round-bend streamer/nymph hook). Again, Allen Fly Fishing continues to create excellent hooks at an excellent price. Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com. Creating different colors of the Prince Nymph is endless. Try using yellow, black, green, red and orange SLF Prism or Ice dubbing.
