Red and White Seaducer

The Seaducer is a very popular streamer fly for freshwater bass fisherman. Its one of the oldest bass flies, and has really stood the test of time. This fly will catch not only freshwater bass, but most species in fresh and saltwater alike. This can be tied in a stripped brownish color to mimic shrimp in the gulf. This is an easy streamer to tie, and should be in every fly box.

Hook:
Mustad 3407 in size 1/0

Body:
palmered saddle hackle in white and red

Tail:
White saddle hackle

Flash:
Krystal Flash

I also tie this with a brownish grizzly hackle for the tail, it then becomes a great redfish and seatrout fly, mimicking shrimp.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
