Heavy nymphs is just plain effective - no doubt about that. But the traditional nymphs often get caught between snags and rocks in the river and streams. In this case a up-side-down nymph is the key to success, and the jig-style nymphs or czech-nymphs are invented to solve this problem. The czech nymphing style is spreading around the world, and has gained a massive popularity beeing super-effective for trout and graylings. Our very own Håkan Karsnäser will in this video show, how he easily can make a czeck-style mini jig.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
