Superfloss Bloodworm

No comments yet

You can fish lakes, lochs, and ponds with the ultimate confidence with a weighted bloodworm. This stillwater bloodworm is pretty simple in design, but it may take a little practice to get the furling of the floss. Furling the floss creates a flexible extended body on the fly. This material is quite versatile and makes a great smooth body on the fly as well. It also works well as a leg material for small patterns. The fly is quite simple in design but highly effective for trout, perch, sunfish and other insectivores.

Superfloss may also be sold under other names such as Flexi-floss. Be sure to coat the finished fly with head cement or use a UV cured resin to really fix the floss in place.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
