The Bream Killer

The bream killer fly pattern was requested by one of my subscribers a while back. I decided to give it a go, and it seems like a pretty good pattern. Somewhat simple to tie, and im sure it will be effective. I can see more than just sunfish, bluegill, and crappie eating this though. I suspect bass, and other warm water fish should eat it as well.

As you all know I am sponsored by risen fly and dooleys fly fishing. They are both offering you all a discount, so go to and and type in McFly at checkout for 15% off of anything in their shops.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
