One of the first hatches, and the first dry fly I use after the ice is gone on the lakes in the spring time. Light, effective and easy fly to tie!
Using a dry fly hook, hackle fiber for the tail, silk for the body, hackle and mallard duck quills wings or teal slip quills.
Tied on size 14 and 16 or 18.
