Yellow Stimulator

The Stimulator is one of the best attractor dry flies around. Stimulators are extremely versatile. Use them as alone or with a dropper. Kudos to Randall Kaufmann for a great pattern. Great fished in sizes 6 down to size 18.

Unfortunately Randall Kaufmann is not the originator of this fly. It was first tied by a tier named Jim Slattery, who now lives in W. Yellowstone, Montana. It was loosely fashioned after the famous Sofa Pillow.
