Zebra Midge
The Zebra Midge is probably is one of the most popular flies around the world. It's simple to tie, is weighted and represents a midge pupa or emerger quite well. It can be tied in a number of different colors, from black like I tied here today, to olive (for a BWO or even caddis pupa), red (for an annelid), even colors like chartreuse, hot pink, what have you. Any color thread you have, you can tie it that color. You can also change up the bead color and the wire color as well.
As you all know I am sponsored by Risen Fly, if you haven't already check out their website www.risenfly.com and type in McFly at checkout for 15% off of your first order with them.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
