The number of videos on the Global FlyFisher video page is steadily closing in on 10,000!
This is early October 2019, and the GFF video channel has been online for close to 10 years. It opened slowly in December 2009, and has been growing steadily ever since, now closing in on 10,000 videos published!
Video number 10,000 will most likely be published right about when the video page turns 10 years old. The pace has been varying, but the average numbers tell me that for 10 years I have published 2.7 videos every day, making about to 20 a week and slightly more than 80 per month. This is an average, and the pace isn’t quite as hectic anymore, with about 40-50 videos published a month.
Since a little less than fifty are missing before the sharp corner is turned, it’s probably going to happen sometime during November or maybe early December. That will depend on the frequency of good new fly fishing and fly tying videos being published. You can follow the count on each new video that I add, and see which one becomes number 10,000.
