Absolutely last trip!

No comments yet

I thought I'd been out for the last time this year when I recorded my podcast Last Trip 2007... but that wasn't the case. The last day of the year turned out to be one of these clar, calm, beautiful winter days where you just look out the window and know something has to happen.

So when my good friend Henning called and asked "When do you want to be picked up?" I took 2 minutes to decide, and was ready in 20.

Did we catch anything?
Nah!

Did we see any fish?
Nope!

Had we expected that?
Well, sort of...

But we had a great day on the coast. High sky, warm sun, gorgeous coastline. We even met a couple of good friends - Niels and Mark - on the beach and got to say Happy New Year to them.

Now, that was the absolutely last trip of 2007, because as this is written the year has turned from 7 to 8, and I'm about to go to bed. But I just though I'd share these nice pics with you and wish you a 2008 full of days like this.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
