I'm building up to the update of the already substantial table of tying threads
I already posted about an upcoming update of the tying threads in the large and quite popular list of fly tying threads. Find the Fly Tying Thread Table here.
Another small batch arrived today, and in that are some of the more rare threads - or at least uncommon - like a carbon fiber thread (really!) and a proper silk thread.
I know silk is still used by many who tie more traditional flies, but it's not found on many fly tying tables.
Apart from that this batch contains some Danville threads that I wanted to get my hands on. I also managed to get some Roman Moser Power Silk and some Marc Petitjean thread, which I have had a hard time finding.
Next package expected to arrive at casa GFF will be from UK company Fulling Mill who is introducing a large selection of threads in the coming weeks. When they arrive I'll start gathering data on all the new threads and add details to the table.
