Well - this was a first. I've never caught a trout in January before. It was colder than the low 40's the forecast called for, especially with the gusty winds and the bone chilling water, but who am I to complain? I was honest-to-God fly fishing for trout on New Year's Day. A good start to one of my resolutions to Fish More, and Fish More Often.
