Tied by: David Mac
Originated by: David Mac
Hook: Martinek Carrie Stevens hook #1 10X Long
Thread: Black
Body: Pink floss
Rib: Silver Mylar tinsel, size 10
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: White hackle
Wing: Four pink saddle hackles flanked by two shorter Black Crested Kalij Pheasant side feathers, half the total wing length
Shoulder: Elliot Pheasant hen breast feather
Eyes: Painted, white with black dot
Notes: This is another fine pattern tied by David. He does a wonderful job with the shoulder on this streamer, blending the Kalij pheasant and Elliot pheasant feathers together. Created in 1976 for Mrs. Martha Elliot of Connecticut for her Lake Winnipesaukee trip.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.

David, another beauty! I bet Martha was honored to have this fly named after her!
