Thread: UTC Ultra Thread 70 denier, Rust Brown & 210 Denier, Brown
Weight: .020 Lead Wire, 12 wraps
Tail: Mottle Turkey
Rib: Gold Wire, Medium
Body: Sparkle Braid or Flat Braid, Gold
Underwing:  Gray Squirrel Tail
Wing:     Mottle Turkey
Head:       Natural Deer Body Hair

The Muddler Minnow has been around for almost a hundred years.  It is still commercially tied and available but many people do not fish this fly or take the time to tie it.  The turkey and deer hair head can be a bit challenging but it is well worth mastering.  The Muddler Minnow is still a very productive trout fly as well as a large & Smallmouth bass fly. --Enjoy
