Notes: Barry created this pattern in memorial of a dear friend who passed suddenly and much too soon. She and her husband together owned a fishing lodge that Barry spends at least three weeks a year fishing at. Not only does this fly hold special place in Barry's life, but it is also responsible for a number of fish getting to meet Barry in person, making for some memorable days out on the lakes.

Perfect timing for this post! Barry is up at that same lodge for the week.
