Notes: Dave created this version of the Colonel Fuller based on the wet fly described in Ray Bergman's Trout. The original, designed by John Shields and named for his father, was tied as a bass fly. The red and yellow colors of the fly are quite effective for many freshwater and saltwater species, producing aggressive strikes from brook trout and salmon in the fall. Mr. Percy Gardner created the original streamer version which features a tinsel body and red shoulder using the Genesis pattern for inspiration.
