Notes: The Saints have been playing football in Louisiana since 1967. The name Saints come from New Orleans largely catholic population and the observance of All Saints Day, November 1. The team features a fleur-de-lis logo with black and old gold colours. The Saints grabbed their first Superbowl championship in 2009, defeating the Indianapolis Colts. This came just a couple years after the team was forced to play home games out of state, a result of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina.
