Originated by: Dave Lomasney
Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek 8xl #2
Thread: Black 6/0
Tag: Silver flat tinsel
Body: Black floss
Rib: Silver flat tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: Orange schlappen
Wing: 4 chartreuse hackles
Shoulder: Guinea fowl
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black
Notes: As the name suggests, muddy water won't keep the fish from seeing this bright beacon. Chartreuse is a wonderful color in general and is some what underused by fly anglers in fresh water. The orange throat is also a favorite trigger for large trout. This is one of Dave's first original designs, moving away from his genre of classic wets to streamer conversions.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.

Great fly Dave. Remember, "If it ain't chartreuse, it ain't no use."
