Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer hook
Thread: White
Tag: Flat silver tinsel
Body: Red floss
Rib: Flat silver tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: Blue hackle fibers
Underwing: 4-6 peacock herls
Wing: blue hackles flanked by slightly shorter red hackle
Shoulder: Golden pheasant green back feathers
Eyes: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black (with red band)
Notes: The green iridescent back feather of the golden pheasant isn't used frequently, but is fitting for creating the cheeks and shoulders of feather-wing streamers such as Carrie Stevens' Tomahawk. The Lady Amherst pheasant also possesses some similar iridescent feathers that could be used as an alternative. The wing combination is quite unique, and the fusion of the red and blue can produce some interesting tones of pink and purple.
