Hook: Daiichi Alec Jackson #3/0
Thread: Black 8/0
Tag: Gold oval tinsel
Body: Green floss
Rib: Orange floss edged by gold and silver oval tinsel
Throat: Peacock herl, white bucktail and golden pheasant crest
Wing: Green bucktail under dark blue bucktail
Collar: Guinea fowl
Head: Black
Notes: Scott developed the fly by pulling colors from a version of the Scott tartan called the Scott Green Ancient. The tartan is primarily green with a heavy influence of blue with a bit of yellow, orange , black a white crossed in. The Scott clan was known to be a powerful Border Clan who quarreled regularly with their neighbors. Hopes are that the tradition continues once the fly is face to face with some feisty salmonids.
