Another podcast! My new recorder has been doing overtime, and I have been fortunate enough to get out enough and have time to record. I'm still struggling with the wind here - both when casting and when recording. So on this podcast you will have quite a bit of noise from the wind - and from my clothes because I'm trying to shelter the microphone - and from my stomach because I'm hungry! How many podcasts have you heard with stomach growling recorded?
And oh yes: there's also a fish being caught on this podcast. That doesn't happen too often.

Dave,
Thanks for
Dave,
Thanks for your comment. True enough that the wind adds authenticity, but it also adds a lot of noise and quite a bit of post production work for me. I have tried to keep the noise down by applying differerent filters and cutting out the worst parts. I hate doing that because time by the computer equals lost fishing time.
And I'm glad you liked the stomach growl... ;-) Next time you may be able to get into bed with me! Literally! I started recording the next podcast installment yesterday after I had laid down to sleep, sparked by a late night email about C&R. I will probably do the rest tomorrow or during the weekend by the water, and get it published as soon as I get the time to finish the mixing.
Martin
Martin,
I enjoy you
Martin,
I enjoy your podcasts very much. I've listened to all of them and look forward to each new one that comes out. Your latest was excellent. I really enjoy it when you record all of the sounds, wind included. More authentic that way. Glad to hear that you caught fish on this trip. I felt like I was there with you - stomach growl and all. :-)
