You always post such beauties, but even by that standard this is special. Ending the year in style.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the daily posts in 2012. Thanks for sharing the work and beauty of so many talented tiers. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Wow! That is an amazing work. I have never seen anything quite like it. An awesome high note to end the series!
Best work I've ever seen... Truly a work of art. Keep it up in 2013 and a prosperous Happy New Year!
Sono curiosa di vedere cosa ci proporrai la prossima volta. Tanti auguri di Buon Anno.

Congratulations on achieving your vision of Streamers 365! You put in a ton of work and had great support from the 'streamers' community - what an exciting year for everyone involved. And now we'll see what you have up your sleeve for 2013....
Thank you for an amazing 366 days, Darren, and all the other tyers who contributed to the S365 Project. Without your commitment of time and effort, this never would have been realized. As a new/returning tyer, I've been able to learn so much through the S365 Project, and I'm very thankful to all of you.
Val, your creations have always been so beautiful. This one is another work of art. Truly inspirational. I love the whole thing, including the color choices, and name.
Beautiful and Stunning display of Artistic Craftsmanship Val.
Congratulation Darren on a Successful Streamer Project!

Amazing project! Congrats on a great year.
Darren, First, thanks for letting me be part of this project. Second, thanks for all your work in bringing streamers back up front, not only as a fishing tool with significant history and charm, but also as an art form worthy of the materials, color and design choices and skill so many brought forth for this project. Hats off to all you guys and gals too!
Like JK says above,I've also learned a lot from this site this year - for that thanks all. Happy Healthy New Year!
One idea also is to use paint for glass or ceramic from 'Lefranc & Bourgeois' like JP Dessaigne uses to make those terrible grayling flies. First Opaque white, furnace to stabilize and then you have choice
See it on JP Dessaigne's site.
All transparent and shiny colors, red, green, blue, yellow...it looks very attractive... good job to you
Mike, these flies and article were so incredible. The tying here is just unimaginable. You just knocked this one so far out of the park, they will never find that ball. I have always wanted to tie the Marbury flies, but so far I have procrastinated. You have the bar raised so high here, I am hesitant to even start. Bravo Zulu here Mike.
I hold my entire fly box under steam and all the tired looking flies come back to life,... have been doing that since the early 60s..............
Raise heritage turkeys in many colour patterns and would like to speak with you about your applications for using turkey feathers in fly tying.
Thank you kindly.
First off, this is a great tribute fly. Second, you can't go wrong with red and white. Fish love that combo. Beautiful tie to top it off. Well done.
This is a fitting tribute to a fallen hero as well as an excellent tie.
… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
