Beutiful fly with the ultimate "combover"!..
Hi Carlos, I came across one of your fly patterns here and saw that you are Colombian. I'm preparing to move to the Altillanura to develop a farm. I am incredibly interested in learning more about fly fishing there, but information is very hard to find. I would love to learn more from you. If you would be willing, please email me at tylermcclendon [at] gmail [dot] com
Thank you
Nice streamer Bob. The proportions and the overall shape is perfect, as usual...
Very nice.
You talk about a streamer getting attention.
Very nice loretta,i had to put on the sunglasses to get a good look at it !.A real attention grabber.Well done..
Very cool fly, Val. Rogan tied some interesting patterns.
Beautiful streamer.
Those colors blend so well.
Your STRMR looks good Alan. Very interesting blend of colors. Petr
Nice fly Al,these are colors that really work well for me.
Please don't visit and give your money to Paws Up. The ownership of Paws Up has no concern for the land or the local people. Paws Up was ruled against in Montana Supreme Court because they tried to bilk the locals out of money as well as for ignoring local water and environmental regulations. They are not good people and you should not give them your money.
Hi Davie,
your streamer looks nice, I especially like the red dyed teal flank shoulders. Did you dye your feathers? If not, where can I get it? Surely not in Czech fly shop...:-(((

Beautiful work, I love the colors you used too.
Geoff,
What kind of fly are we talking about? I can find a dry fly called Henshaws Old Faithful, which has a green body. The materials are:
Hook: Size 14 2XL Dry Fly Hook
Thread: 6/0 black
Tail: Fibers from pheasant rump feather
Body: Peacock green chenille
Wing: Pheasant Rump Feather
Hackle: Light Blue Dun

I thought this article was very well written and very educational. I am an 84 year old beginner fly tyer, so this gave me lots of help. Thanks, Carl
Have you got a pattern for an "Old Faithful" ? Help please . . .
… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
