Small mayfly patterns are essential in every troutfishers flybox, and this delicate small CDC emerger of a Blue Winged Olive is a fine bid on a “must-have-pattern”. In this video we have had the skilled flytyer and flyfisher John Parisi to demonstrate the tying of this fine emerger. John is the shop manager at TCO Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania, and at a relatively young age he has become an accomplished guide and flytyer who is well respected in the area. His patterns are primarily specialized for Pennsylvania waters, however he also guides for steelhead where his tubeflies are very effective. He ties several mirco-intruder patterns that are popular among the local longrodders.
