CF Baitfish Grizzly

We have had Morten Hansen aka “Coastfly” behind the vice where he is tying a sandeel pattern - the CF Baitfish Grizzly. There has been a boom in tying Flatwing style flies the last 5 years so here is Morten’s take on a flatwing. A few feathers and some craftfur is almost all it takes to create a really efficient baitfish imitation. Morten fishes sea trout a lot in the southern part of Denmark and in the area around Flensburg - and this is one of his go-to-patterns.

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
