Rubber Theif 2.0 - AKA Gummityven 2.0

Improved the pattern and used different materials. A real sea trout killer

Hi there and welcome to another fly tying tutorial. The idea for this updated 2.0 version of the fly GUMMITYVEN is because I have some really nice CDL feathers from Whiting in Golden olive color, I wanted to try. I looked deep in my dubbing box and found a nice color to combine the feathers with and that ended up in this updated 2.0 version. I made the version last week and tried it this weekend with success. The sea trout were crazy about it, so have a look at this tutorial.

Tight lines, Christian Krogh

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
