Originated by: Bill Chandler
Hook: Sealey & Sons 1762b #2/0
Thread: Black
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Underwing: Peacock herl 4-6
Under-shoulder: Red and black schlappen fibers
Throat: Red and black schlappen fibers
Wing: Blue hackle flanked by dark green hackle
Shoulder: Pintail
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: Bill has a distinct style when it comes to tying streamers, and he includes the under-shoulder element many tyers do not. This mirrors the throat of the streamer, and results in a nice full area up front, tapering down to the tail, especially important when the fly is wet and fully compressed. Bill tied this on a Sealey & Sons 1762b 2/0 hook, something hard to come by these days. It has a circle bend, and is about a 6xl hook (note the larger gape) but works beautifully with Bill's creation. The version #1 has a red throat rather than the black and no under-shoulder element.

Outstanding fly. I love the colors in this one, and the flow.
