Originated by: Ora Smith
Source: Trolling Flies for Trout and Salmon; Dick Stewart & Bob Leeman 1982 pg.68
Hook: Mustad 3665A
Body: Fluorescent red floss
Wing: Four dark blue dun saddle hackles
Throat: Golden yellow imitation bucktail to the bend of the hook
Shoulder: Dark teal flank about 1/3 wing length
Eye: Painted white with black pupil
Head: Black
Notes: Several variation of this fly exist all based on the original Grey Ghost (Stevens). The collection of Ora Smith flies in Trolling Flies for Trout and Salmon represents just a tiny fraction of the flies he tied over his career. For anyone interested in seeing more of his streamer should check out Art of Angling Journal, Volume 2, Issue 1 for a large collection of his work. Glenn has put together an amazing set of 12 Ora Smith streamers as his contribution to the Streamers 365 project. We will be auctioning them all together as a set near the end of the project.

Comment to #201 - Fluorescent Body Gray Ghost
I love the use of materials, and colors. Looks like a huge fish getter to me.
