Dambuster Streamer Fly Recipe
Hook: Mustad L-87-3665A #2
Thread: Black 8/0
Body: Black floss
Rib: Red oval tinsel and copper embossed tinsel
Throat: Red hen hackle fibers
Wing: Red bucktail (brown hairs with light tips)
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black
Notes: Prior to spawning, Jim had observed the monster browns from the local waters cruising the edge of the dam in search of minnows. He conceived the pattern in an effort to take advantage of the situation. The wing is tied using the brown part of a red dyed bucktail, giving the wing a beautiful transition of almost black to red.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.

Nice streamer pattern there Jim. I'll have to add this one to my streamer arsenal. Kevin
