It's been quite a long time since I've posted any Ebay auctions on the site, but there are some notable items up for bids this week.

Friend of the site and streamer contributor Ken Craigue Jr. is selling a few of his collectable items including an original Carrie Stevens Gray Ghost (originating from Don Palmer's collection), Bert Quimby's Green King, Jim Warner's Winnepesaukee Smelt, and more.

Larry Leight has also been busy continuing his weekly offering of classic and original patterns. This week he has a beautuful collection of Stevens streamers tied perfectly for collectors. Patterns include Water Witch, Mezger's Special, Pink Beauty, Mickey Doodle, Green Hornet, and Nine-Three Custom.

There are also a few auctions for some antique streamer hooks with some Allcock 1810 hooks. The first auction includes some #2 Allcock 1810 8xl hooks. The perfect Carrie Stevens streamer hook, and some small 3xl Allcock 1810. The second auction includes a box of 6xl #6 Allcock 1810 hooks (125 pieces) and a box of mislabelled hooks. The box is for the coveted 2811 Allcock streamer hooks, but the hooks in the box are an up-eye salmon hook. They may be Allcock, but I can't be certain. The 125 #6 1810 hooks would be worth the price at around $125-200.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
