My first guided trip I ever went on was with Jon Oody from Tennessee Valley Anglers. Jon ignited a passion in me for fly fishing and I looked up to him after that.

Last week, I showed how I setup camp and tried to get to the top of the mountain. However I wasn't able to make it all the way to the top due to a storm coming through.

This was a blast of a time hanging with Carter and camping overnight at the small alpine lake by my house. Its so beautiful up there, and its nice being away and out in nature.

As much as you love exploring new countries, places, rivers, once in a while your thoughts keep wandering back to past trips and eventually you decide that you have to go back!

Finnmark, northern Norway, is one of the last untouched wilderness areas in the world. Lots of space, lots of fish and not a lot of people and roads. Paradise for a fly fisherman really.
