Alda
Here we will be tying the fly Alda by Helgi V. Úlfsson. The fly is a great option for lake fishing, especially in the Veiðivötn region in the highlands of Iceland. The fly works very well up there and I presume it would work in other lakes as well when it comes to fishing for the ice-age brown trout we have here in Iceland. The fly is simple to tie and totally worth to keep few in your box when go fishing for brownies.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
