Baja Buffet

Buffet Series Episode 5 - Roosterfish have to be the coolest predator fish on the planet! Phil and I saw so many amazing displays of ferocity while we were in Baja chasing them. Fortunately for us, a few of these moment involved us hooking into some of the most amazing fish either of us have ever caught!

Their reputation for being one of the toughest species to catch on a fly rod is more true than we ever believed. We had to work for every fish we caught on this trip, but we loved every minute of it! We really hope you enjoy this adventure!

Coming up, Episode 6 set to launch Tuesday May 28, 2019 - A beautiful ode to bull trout. Don't miss it!

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
