The Appetiser was originally tyed by Bob Church in 1972 and was fished in the lakes and lochs of the UK and Ireland, it was one of the first British lures that had marabou in the dressing...
Materials Used;
Hook, Size 8 Lure or Steamer
Thread, Start with WhiteUni-8/0 and finish with Black Uni-8/0
Tail, Green and orange cock or hen fibres mixed together then add a little Mallard Flank top to finish..
Rib, Oval silver tinsel
Body, White Chenille
Throat, Green and orange cock or hen fibres mixed together then add a little Mallard Flank to finish..
Wing, White Marabou Pearl Krystal Flash and Grey Squirrel on Top
Head, Black
