Classic Shrimp

Shrimp-patterns do allways work out quite well, both in fresh- and saltwater. Based on the classic salmon fly pattern The General Practitioner, the skilled German fly tyer and fly fisherman Oliver Oelze has created this elegant version for his search for coastal sea-run brown trouts.

Butt: Fl. orange Senyo’s Laser Dub
Tail: Yellow and orange bucktail
Body: Fl. orange Senyo’s Laser Dub
Hackle: Orange Whiting Spey hackle

Rib: Monofilament
Back: Golden Pheasant feather
