Baitfish patterns is often the key for success when chasing predator species in both salt- and freshwater, and in saltwater a sandeel is a must-have in the box. In this video danish flytyer and flyfisher Lars Chr. Bentsen will be demonstrating the tying of a sandeel imitation which style of design originally was created of Bob Popovich in the north eastern part of USA for stripers-fishing. The purpose was to make a durable fly and the correct profile of a sandeel. And with the tie-in point beeing covered with both uv-resin and a lifelike realistic head of the sandeel this pattern for sure fulfills the needs for an effective baitfish-imitation.
