Fishing Oceanside harbor

The last time I went to Oceanside and fished in the surf I had some trouble getting any bites. I fished all day with nothing. But this time was different! It was a slow start, but I finally got a few fish and it was such a good feeling! Some beautiful sand bass, and a nice calico!

so as it turns out, the two sand bass were actually spotted bay bass. Haha! Sorry guys!

for equipment I was using a 6wt rod, 6wt reel, and an intermediate sink tip line.
