Glass Spider
Fly tying and fishing a simple but effective pattern. A partridge hackle tied against a jig-off glass bead gives the impression of an air bubble at the head of a hatching insect with unfolding legs and wings behind.
There many more of my fly designs and new tying materials and methods in my book Fly Couture. You can preview the book at https://nickthomasflytying.myportfolio.com/fly-couture-book
The book is available by print-on-demand at www.blurb.co.uk/b/11011342-fly-couture. The book ships worldwide, simply click the flag icon at the top of the page to select your country or region or go to www.blurb.com for details on how to order in other areas.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
