This Sucker Spawn is a variation of the classic yarn sucker spawn. I like using this GloBug Ultra Chenille for the patter because it comes in a great range of colors designed for steelhead and salmon as well as the ease of use. It makes a nice clean fly and is inexpensive at 1.30/pack for about 10' of chenille.
I finish the fly with a brush of Bone Dry to protect the exposed thread wraps on the bottom of the fly. Try this one out in colors from yellow, to orange to hot bubblegum pink.
