Gravid Grannom

No comments yet

Tying and fishing an indicator fly for the jig duo method. The Gravid Grannom is tied on a jig hook so that it can be fished on its own as a dry fly or in a duo with a nymph suspended underneath by a length of tippet tied to the eye of the indicator fly. Fishing the duo this way allows you to quickly change the depth of the nymph to suit different conditions simply by lengthening or shortening the length of the tippet between the dry fly and the nymph. Thanks for watching.

Since you got this far …

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
