Always a pleasure to tie Spey flies. The bronze mallard for the wings is a fantastic feather to work with. Tinsel, silk, guinea feather and heron hackle are the other materials. For more security can one of the tinsel wrap in the opposite direction of the other. This fly will be with me in my box this summer.
