Here we will be tying the Hemmi Streamer, named after Hermann who used to be a warden in the Veiðivötn region of Iceland for decades. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing for brown trout. Made just two years ago it's been a successful pattern and my son Bjarki caught his record trout with this fly. Hemmi is really simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing.

Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed 8/0 red.
Tail: Red marabou, + 2 strands of silver holo flashabou.
Body: Silver dubbing brush.
Eyes: Yellow or red lead dumbbell eyes.
Head: Semperfli Classic waxed 8/0 thread.
